I utilised this floor plan whenever I needed to use the interactive whiteboard for explanations, presentations or videos. This learning environment helped me to manage students’ behaviour better and to decrease distraction during lesson.
I used this learning environment whenever I organised quizzes to recapitulate the topic covered in class in previous lessons. This classroom arrangement helped me to conduct this exercise well and to have a better flow between the question and its respective answer. It was also beneficial for learners as through such adjustment they had the opportunity to discuss the answer as a group. Hence through this learning environment I managed to enhance the social domain through the promotion of group work.
I made use of the above floor plan whenever I had to carry out certain demonstrations during the PE theory lessons. The horseshoe arrangement enabled me to have enough space for me to perform the demonstrations to the whole class. I used student empowerment by requesting pupils to exhibit some exercises in the free space provided. This learning environment was appropriate as through it, learners were able to observe exercises presented.
